WikkaWiki is a flexible, standards-compliant and lightweight wiki engine written in PHP, which uses MySQL to store pages. Forked from WakkaWiki. Designed for speed, fine-grained access control, extensibility, and security.

WikkaWiki's speed, extensibility and easy hackability are among the most prominent and appreciated features of this engine. Compared to heavier wiki engines, which integrate several built-in functions, WikkaWiki's goal is to keep its core as small as possible while developing an architecture that supports easy extensibility through plugin modules.

Among its notable features: full revision control, syndication tools (RSS feeds, Wikiping), global and per-page access control through ACL, advanced syntax highlighting (GeSHi) and built-in support for mindmaps (Freemind).

This release adds new functionality such as: support for 100%-modular themes, a completely redesigned default layout, menu templates, an advanced table markup with support for accessibility parameters, among other enhancements.
