FAQ

What is Expertitis syndrome?

It's a group of symptoms that collectively indicate or characterize an Amahi user as a technical expert.

Amahi is designed with regular humans in mind. Many expert users often bypass certain steps or set things up in unusual ways that mainstream users would probably never set up. Examples: unusual network devices, active/aggressive reverse firewalls, VLANs, complex network setups, etc., etc.

We often see the situation where users afflicted with Expertitis get more in trouble than regular users and they throw their hands in the air because Amahi did not handle it well. We say that this user is suffering Expertitis. It's not meant to be derogatory, but rather that the users' expertise takes the situation outside the envelope of what Amahi can typically handle.
